With over 35 years of experience in the automotive space, Ray Lewis, our founder and CEO, established PrairieOne Motor Group to do more than just sell vehicles. He set out to change the way automotive careers are built across the Prairies. That means delivering an OEM-level experience for customers, bringing better systems and processes to the industry, and most importantly, creating real careers for young people.
PrairieOne is a practical university alternative to traditional college - a place where you learn while you work and get certified while you earn. We have trained and developed people who are now leading some of the most high-performing teams in the business. Our programs are hands-on, practical, and built on real results, not just theory. Through strong partnerships with NADA, SADA, NCM Associates, and others, we bring in some of the best trainers in the world to teach leadership, finance, sales, and service at the highest level. This is how we turn beginners into professionals, professionals into managers, and managers into future owners. The majority of our team members are earning six figures in their first year because performance is built into our culture from day one.
Ray has never stopped believing in education and growth. Even after decades in the industry, he is currently pursuing his MBA and further education at the Rotman School of Business. His relentless pursuit of personal growth is a living example to our entire organization – where each one of us is learning while earning. He is not just building a company - he is living the values that drive it.
